Learn how to make a repeating pattern from your own design like in classic Toile de Jouy! We will be working with themes of your choice. Common themes include mythology, family, and culture. The story is told using decorative motifs such as animals, people, plants, and special events. Feel free to bring reference materials such as snapshots, photos, and or objects from your life. We will provide magazines, books, and all the materials you need to create your very own repeating Toile de Jouy pattern. Maybe you can make your own wallpaper or fabric!
