About the event

Fall Fest returns to downtown Akron on Saturday, October 21, from 5 to 9 p.m. This Halloween-themed family event will feature trick-or-treat stations on Main St. from 5 to 7 p.m., music by local band Wishgarden, food, a fire pit lounge, pumpkin decorating, and a free showing of the popular 1993 movie, Hocus Pocus, at 7:30 pm. There will also be a special visit from the Ohio Garrison of the 501st Legion, an international STAR WARS costuming club, as well as the Cleveland Ghostbusters, Akron Bike Party, and the Akron Roller Derby.

Additionally, Summit County Historical Society will be leading a haunted tour of downtown Akron from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the tour cost $20 and include an hour-long walk and one DORA drink.

Plans for food vendors include Bereka Coffee, Essential Dipped Delights, Dr. Hibachi, El Patrón Tequilería & Cuisine, and Cookies BBQ. DAP will have local craft brews and specialty drinks available for purchase in the Shed on the plaza.

Fall Fest is presented by Downtown Akron Partnership with support from the City of Akron, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and Ohio Arts Council.
