About the event
Jeri Sapronetti, an Akron Soul Train 2023 Artist-in-Residence, will showcase her music and videos to the public on Saturday, November 25th, at Akron's newly established art hub, the Highland Universal Gatherplace (HÜG). Along with her band Big Pop, Sapronetti will perform live with a 7-part music video she produced for the residency. The Big Pop Picture Show promises to be an extraordinary and immersive experience. Fans will have the chance to gain insights into Sappronetti’s creative process with a special Q&A following the performance.
Jeri Sapronetti is an Akron music staple and has produced several releases over the past ten years with her former band Time Cat, and her new group Big Pop. Her ripping guitar leads and spunky lyrics create an atmosphere of energy and youthful spirit. Her enigmatic personality on stage draws onlookers and her performances with Big Pop radiate unforgettable dance-rock electricity.
Tickets are pay-as-you-can with a suggested donation of $10 a ticket.
