About the event
Join AIR Alex Younger for a hands-on artist workshop exploring the art of block printing with natural dyes and dye mordants, hosted in partnership with the Kent State University School of Art Textiles Program.
This afternoon session will guide participants through the process of preparing dyes for use as print ink and demonstrate block printing techniques. Paper, blocks, and printing tools will be provided, though attendees are encouraged to bring their own materials to experiment with and personalize their prints.
This workshop is free to attend, with registration requested as space is limited.
