Saelyx Finna Debuts Short Film “Dreams Travel Wondrous Wires”
Saelyx Finna is not only a filmmaker, but an emerging authority in dream neurotechnology. With several working projects, including feature film UNDER THE DREAM and The Akron Dream Hotline, Finna’s research explores the wonder, potential, and multiverse of the dreaming mind.
As an Akron Soul Train artist-in-residence, Saelyx Finna co-created and produced the short film “Dreams Travel Wondrous Wires.” The film is inspired by the life and work of poet Jane Roberts, whose trance-channeling of the metaphysical entity "Seth" became the canonical texts of the New Age movement in the 1970s-80s. The film takes audiences on a dream-like journey through Roberts’ Victorian house in Elmira, NY, where Jane channeled Seth’s teachings on consciousness, reality, and dreams. The film aims to connect viewers to their own dreamworlds, offering a nocturnal exercise for experiencing the transformative power of dreams. After the film, gallery…
