Raja is a political performance poet focusing on concepts around Police brutality. Her work focuses on the desensitization of the media to the destruction of people of color and the seemingly disposability of black and brown bodies. She will pair her poem, "A note on trigger warnings at the beginning of poems" with visual art elements in the gallery, using switching red and blue lights that reveal different words and images under the different light colors.
